Ryan Smith is a freelance writer/journalist in Chicago who covers technology, video games and sports for the Chicago Tribune's RedEye. A Land of Lincoln (Springfield, IL) native, Ryan won several local and state journalism awards in his six years as a news reporter in Missouri and Los Angeles. He also writes for PopMatters.com
Eliane Fiolet is co-founder of Ubergizmo.com where she writes about web applications, design and usability. She owns a Corporate ID design business that helps companies create great brands. Prior to opening her own agency, Eliane worked for a top design firm, Minale Tattersfield Design Strategy, where she created identities for Fortune 500 companies.
Doug Aamoth is a freelance web developer and tech enthusiast. A self-proclaimed meodicre comedic actor, Doug reviews gadgets at CrunchGear.com, while making videos and hosting the weekly live podcast for those who don't like to read.
Long Tran is Creative Director of Yankodesign.com and is responsible for all editorial aspects of the renowned industrial design blog. He currently art directs for an interactive design agency with clients such as Disney, Fox, NBC Universal, Pioneer and Nintendo. His background is in fashion design and is currently working on a debut menswear collection called Panda-Makings Making Pandas.
Thomas Wong was ridiculously bored of academic writing at university and finally found something he could actually write entire pages about (or 'aboot' if you think Canadians sound like that): mobile tech! When he's not gaming or reading about tech, Thomas can be found on JAMM.mobi and Just Another iPhone Blog writing about all the geeky things he loves.
